I rented a silver coffee urn and coffee maker for my mothers memorial service. I made coffee in the coffee maker and filled the silver urn with the hot coffee, my husband then picked up the urn to carry it outside for the event and the handle fell off, spilling coffee everywhere, on him and the floor. The handle on the coffee urn was broken and had been simply glued on. We had no coffee on this very cold day and my husband had to attend my mothers memorial in coffee stained pants and a t shirt. Actually the situation could have been much worse, I'm just glad my husband wasn't burned worse than he was.
When I returned the coffee urn and coffee maker to the store, the manager, John Henry,listened as I was explaining what happened but then walked away. The very nice lady at the front desk told me he had an important meeting but would call me later. He never did. I called several times but he never returned my calls. My husband finally called and talked to Mr. Henry, he agreed to refund my money and $80.00 (what they would have charged to deliver the items). He never refunded my money. I would never recommend Good Rentals!
