A Glazing Memory

This is a great place to paint. They have SOOO many things to choose from and you don't have to be a great painter to come out with something nice. It is fun for adults and kids alike. I think it would be a great idea for a birthday party or baby shower etc. We had a fabulous time and I would recommend it to anyone! The davisbarret guy is right! They treat you like a five star hotel would. They even help you with your kids the entire time so that you can enjoy your experience even more. They helped me when I was doing my daughters handprint and they help you figure out what colors would work best with what you want to do. They also make sure you have clean water and clean tiles so that you don't have to mix your paints. I have been to other ceramic painting places and never had such great service as this place. It's hard to go to a place like this and be able to do some artwork of your own when you have a four year old, but the owners of this place made that possible for me. They have toys out for the kids so if they finish early you can still finish your work. I was also impressed with their prices. You can walk in with 10 dollars and that covers everything you need for your child to paint a small animal. Or 12 dollars to paint a plate. There's no surprises when you go to pay for your items. They even remember your name when you go to pick up the item. The lady met us one time and she already knew my daughters name and what she had painted. I can't say enough about this wonderful place and I highly reccomend this place to anyone that likes to paint pottery and especially if you have kids! So it was, 6/12 I found myself facing a weekend alone with the kid. I had this idea, see, to take him to this place just around the corner. So, that Friday my son and I were on our way home and decided to stop by to confirm it was kid friendly. We were warmly greeted and assisted by the owner, Dennis, and helper, Robin. Before I knew it we were sitting at a table painting to our hearts content with our table being bussed like a 5-star restaurant. We liked it so much that we brought our neighbor and her daughter the very next day and got to meet the other owner, and better half of Dennis, named Sharon. Robin was there as well and I found my neighbor quickly addicted to the place. I ended up taking my son and her daughter home. Good thing we live around the corner! Soon I'll be taking my wife and step-daughter there. Nothing prepared me for the beauty they made of our simple projects.
