A Doggie's Dream

I used to take my beautiful border collie mix there. I took her there and asked for a trim. She asked if I wanted to shave her and I said no. After 5 hours she was finally ready for pick up. I didn't recognize her, the groomer shaved her completely, she came out ugly and she was embarrassed. Don't take your dog there. Her hair still has not grown out. more

I cannot express enough how a ""A Doggie's Dream"" has helped me and my dog. I own a very social and sweet pitbull. He lives to play with other dogs. However, he has a lot of energy. I take him for walks, but its not enough. He has bad knees and my vet does not want him to go to the dog park because it will make his knees worse. He will whine and stare out the window even though he was just walked. This is where A Doggies Dream comes in. My dog loves the facility and starts to get excited when we pull up to the door. He can't wait to get inside. The staff is great!!! They take great care of my dog and he loves to be with them. When I have to go out of town, I know he is in great hands. We have two large dogs, a Doberman and an Alaskan Malamute. When we brought the Dobe into our home one of the goals was meaningful socialization. With this in mind we started shopping day care facilities which would be a good fit for him. The staff at A Doggies Dream gave us a full tour of the property on the spot (we dropped in unannounced without an appointment). We decided to try the service and have been with them ever since. They fit our then 7 mo. puppy into a play group, quickly learned his name and behaviors. They always know my name when I come in and even know my vehicle by site, often calling my dog up from his group so that he's ready when I come in. The puppy is now 2 years old. We also board both dogs when we go out of town. The Malamute is NOT social with other dogs (other than the Dobe) or people. They accept her and work with her issues and have a comfortable isolated space for her stay. We are pleased with the service provided to our beloved pets. I am a well-behaved and happy puppy. I was sent puppycare at 6 months so I could play all day while my human is at work, making money for more dog treats and toys. I was always exhausted and content at the end of the day. I love this place: the staff was always friendly and happy to see me; they remembered my name; and, if time permitted, they would tell my human of my escapades during the day. My impression is that owners and staff genuinely care for dogs and my human trusts them unreservedly with her most awesome companion, namely, me! more
