I've gone to A Delight of France since it opened with Kathy & Jacque. What a wonderful time--excellent food, outstanding staff, and welcoming atmosphere. Next Tony bought it and he maintained the same atmosphere, but with the changing economy, he couldn't hang on. A new owner (doctor) bought it and installed his manager & philosophy. I've been a fixture on Saturday mornings with my sister for years, we also said we're the welcoming committee, sitting on the patio. Sunday, I went by for the wonderful french onion soup, I was surprised to see what a small container it now was served in, but it still was ok. Today, I called to reserve the patio for a breakfast on Saturday (I've had 3 functions previously). The new manager told me no very rudely and she didn't care if I came back or not. Our treasure is gone. So don't bother going. I seen the food quality slip in the last couple of weeks.
Pros: food
Cons: staff & atmosphere
