B Staff & Support-The staff loves what they do and it manifests through the clients and aids in their recovery. We have a professional treatment team headed by a Medical Doctor specializing in Addictive Medicine. He is one of the top men in their field on the West Coast. Our team also consists of a Ph D., M.F.T, three drug and alcohol counselors and a host of adjunct staff. As a State licensed and certified chemical dependency treatment facility, we are also adept at dealing with underlying issues and dealing with chemical imbalances and the dual diagnosis they create. In addition to providing excellent services, and staff, we have a large, active alumni association who are involved with the new patients. We have the resources to assist in all areas of a person's new life. As you know, when you recover, all areas of your life need to be addressed. Anyone can be successful while in treatment, the goal is to provide opportunities where there may have been none in the past to create a solid foundation to practice, successfully the 12-step program. Clients are tapped into ongoing care, have the opportunities to attend grief and loss seminars, parenting, career counseling and assistance in addition to ongoing alumni meetings and numerous annual functions. In addition to treating the patients, our family program provides several additional hours each week to help work with the recovering person's family.
We have a significantly high recovery ratio for several reasons. In addition to having a seasoned, professional staff, our program is up-beat, positive, and upscale. We create a program for each individual patient, so the prognosis for recovery increases greatly. Foundationally we provide a history, physical, psychosocial, blood & lab work-up if necessary, group therapy, cognitive therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, art therapy, bio-feed back, education, 12-step orientation, socialization anger management, self-esteem issues are dealt with in addition to relapse prevention, and communication. We escort the clients off premises twice a day to outside meetings to integrate into the recovery community, as well as alleviate any cabin fever. We also assist clients with other personal needs such as connecting with vocational training, career counseling and assistance in addition to ongoing alumni meetings and numerous annual functions.
