A brides worst nightmare should be the name of this store. Caveat Emptor. I only gave a rating because I had to. If the choice was there it would be a negative 10! more

Good: They talk a good game but they are not to be trusted. Whatever goes wrong they will blame on everything & everyone else, from the designer to the bride, but never will take responsibility for their lack of responsibility.. Bad: They totally ruined my daughters wedding. Her dress was not as ordered, She had to settle for their rack sample that was dirty & too big. They promised to clean it & did not & they were supposed to alter it & that didn't happen either. Her dress was so big on her for the wedding that the bra cups were visible in her photos due to the way the top of the dress gaped away from her body. They did not come through with their promises & they would not compensate her for anything. Stay away or leave broken hearted. Improvements: They need to close the doors on this store permanently. I know my daughter can not be their only casualty.. Other: What else is there to say? They ruined my daughters big day & that can not be undone. I just hope to save other moms & their daughters from from the same fate when they put their trust in what they believe is a "professional upstanding business" when in fact they are not . They will say anything until they get your money. Then you are on your own. They could not even get my daughter a swatch of sample fabric to choose accessories with until it was too late to shop.. more

I cannot express the wonderful service I received from Laura at A Bride's Design. Laura is amazing seamstress and designer and is very inexpensive. After working with me for over 2 hours, looking at bustle ideas, halter straps, de-beading and other alteration ideas, my total bill was $59!!! Seriously! A bustle alone is usually more than that! I had a very vague idea of using my Mom's veil as a halter strap, and WOW, Laura just ran with it. She thinks of everything too! She mentioned that the fabric might be too scratchy on my skin (seriously - what other designer would ever think of this?), so she made the strap detachable! So I can take it on and off throughout the reception! For my final fitting, she is coming to my house! The service is absolutely AWESOME. I highly recommend using her. Also, has anyone noticed that all of the bad reviews seem to be from one person? more

I could not be happier with my experience at A Brides Design. Laura designed and created my dress last October. I never receved so many compliments in my life. The dress was couture quality, at a fraction of the price. Laura is so talented and offers great customer service. I now tell everyone I know who is getting married about her shop. more
