A Better Way Wholesale Autos

Bought a car in mid-May, and it was obvious something was wrong with it as soon as we drove it off of the lot, despite their "inspection" before we picked it up. Within two days it was obvious the transmission was shot. Had it towed back. Thankfully the warranty covered the fix, but they've now had it for *four weeks* which I find excessive with poor communication. Buyer beware. Better off picking a reputable auto dealer instead of these shady people. more

DON'T BUT A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. THERE IS A REASON THERE PRICES ARE CHEAPER. This dealer pays for there reviews. If you give them a good review they compensate you. To start I want to say my sales guy was great. To explain my experience. First off I had my own financing and that they don't like that cause they make a killing on the financing. Then when I went to get the car 3.5 hrs. away the car was very, very dirty and inside was a mess. There was a few things wrong so they took it in to have a mechanic look at it so they said. I was at the dealer for 5 hrs. the process was a nightmare and it feels like your on an assembly line. I purchased the Cadillac from this dealer over a year ago. and since then lets just say I have spend 7,200.00 to keep it running.. This has been the worst purchase of my life. This car has been to the Cadillac dealer more times than I can count. The cars they sell are usually high mileage and are in fair condition from what I seen on the others vehicles on there lot. The problems started within 2 weeks of buying it with it needing a catalytic converter. That was 1200.00 just to start. If you call with a complaint when you finally do get them to respond. they say bring it in. So yea I will drive up there for 3.5 hrs. and wait for them to diagnose it and then drive back cause they cant get the part then drive up again and wait to have it fixed then back again. Not practical. And guess what they know your not going to do that. If your local why not. If your not don't buy from this dealer. You have been warned and I don't ever write reviews but felt compelled to write this one to warn people. more

In the CT Valley region, there is the town of Naugatuck, where I believe I have found a better way to purchase used cars. I am writing this to express my thanks to all those at A Better Way Wholesale Autos. I had been searching for a used truck for some time, and then I cam across this company. After the pressure at dealers asking for deposits and many used car lots where I found high mileage autos at high prices, I found this place. Who would have thought - no pressure, an actual garage with ASE Certified technicians, and nothing but good looking, low mileage, late model autos. I was sure something was up! Not only did I get my truck at a fair price, but they actually put money into after the price was settled. New brakes, rotors, detailing, oil change and diagnostics to determine and engine fault. And a 6,000 mile warrantly to boot - all at their expense. Rob the salesman was very cordial and helpful, but the owner told be stories about getting into this business and things he did to help his customers, sometimes at a loss. This closed the deal for me. Are these guys for real? Used cars? Buy them here. It surely is a better way. more

Bought a 04 Yukon a few months ago from these scam artists, just brought it into the GM dealer for repair today. The service manager informed me "get rid of it". It needs $7,000 in repairs, I paid $14,000 for the junk. I still owe $12,000 on it. I'm stuck. Not sure what to do with it, it is unsafe to drive and will sit in my driveway until I can figure out what to do. Stay away from A Better Way. more
