What a hidden treasure! Brides, don't go to Sacramento, or anywhere else until you've been to A Beautiful Bride! Designer gowns at great prices! What is this shop doing in our little town! The owner and staff are super nice and helpful. They can take care of the entire wedding party. This wedding planning can be so stressful until you find a shop like this. By far, this is the classiest and best bridal shop I've ever visited! They carry the latest in designer wedding gowns, bridesmaids and flowergirl dresses, formalwear, prom gowns, shoes, tuxes, jewelry, accessories, etc. What really made my shopping enjoyable was the extremely friendly and courteous staff. I was dreading looking for my wedding stuff but found it all here and had fun doing it. They made me feel special and didn't set any limit on how many items I could try on. Everything is out of their bags, so I could touch and see the gowns and accessories easily. Very upbeat atmosphere, classy and not stuffy. This place is a delightful change from David's and other shops in town, and carries far more beautiful things. I'm going back later for my Christmas ball dress, too! I am a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding, I live in Tucson, he and his bride live in Reno, we decided to order bridesmaids dresses through A Beautiful Bride. I was measured at a bridal salon in Tucson with the designer and style of the dress known. In ""real life"" I am a size 10 or 12. When I was measured the woman told me that I should order a size 14 or 16 since bridesmaid dresses run small. more

I personally loved this Bridal Botique...they have THE most beautiful and unique gowns at this store...and Fran is the most helpful, sweetest woman ever...helped me, my mother, and my assistant to all agree on a gown- a miracle! I went for the 1st time today to look for my gown for my wedding in December and was surprised to find the gown of my dreams. The manager was kind, as well as the other lady with the beautiful eyes that was steaming and organizing... Don't believe the hype...this place is 1st class...the other ""cheapy"" places don't even come close!!!! My original experience with A Beautiful Bride was renting a Selix Tuxedo for my Wedding. Not only were the staff very knowledgable and attentive, they made me feel right at home. Now everytime anyone I know needs a tux for a formal event I always send them straight to A Beautiful Bride. I walked into look at Bridesmaid dresses to help my friend pick them out for her wedding. I wouldn't say they were rude. But they didn't take time for me. They asked if I was getting married. I said no and from then on they ignorred me. I needed to order three dresses and have them in by April which means I probably would have to pay more for faster shipping. But apparently that wasn't any worry to them. I ended up ordering the dresses online and they'll be here in time with no extra fee. Julie at the Beautiful Bride was definitely the nicest person I had met while I was out shopping for my wedding dress with my mom. We had gone to three other bridal shops and just did not get the same service. Julies store had the perfect dress for me with the perfect price. It was definitely meant to be. She also made it very easy on us with all of her recommendations and who we should use for my wedding. Everyone that was involved in my wedding was fantastic. Since my ordeal in ""A Beautiful Bride"" I must say, I have had a much better experience working with Julie & Fran. My fiancee will not retract his review. However, Julie and I have worked things out to a certain degree. She still stood by her policy of No Refunds, but did have a talk with her employee that ruined my day. We are still purchasing our dresses there and am Happy to say Julie and I have remained friends. We have spoke numerous times and she is trying and has tried to make it a Beautiful experience for us. I went in to browse and met Julie, the owner of the store, who is not only personable but incredibly involved in the process of making your dreams come true! When we came in they were so incredibly kind. I found my gown on the first try but everyone wanted me to keep looking to make sure that I loved my gown and though it is a lot of work to get someone in and out of the gowns, Jan, the woman that was helping us, insisted that I do this too. After I chose my gown she said that I should try it on one last time to make sure! Honestly, I will be sad when my wedding is over and I no longer have a real reason to come in and say ""hi!"" The day of my wedding I lost my garter. I was so upset. I had ordered extra fabric from Demetrios so that the garter matched my dress exactly. Julie with A Beautiful Bride heard what had happened and she rushed material to my seamstress, waited for it to be sewed and brought the garter to my wedding. She did this without me asking her to because she knew I was upset and disappointed. She cared about me as a person not just a customer and wanted my day to be everything I'd hoped and wished for. I know with all my heart that no other shop or chain would have even thought twice about my situation. I love this place! I had been to many other wedding shops in this area, and ABB was the only store that helped me to find what I truly wanted (without making me feel like I had to compromise and do things their way). Plus the prices were much more reasonable! I was pleasantly surprised with the personal attention I received. Everyone in the store acted like my wedding was the #1 upcoming event. If I called with questions, everyone remembered me and the details of my wedding. This store had referrals for everything else I needed. I was able to question them about other professionals and with their help, book other wedding essentials, like my photographer. The owner even had my dress preserved. What a relief to be able to plan almost my entire wedding with her help! Any Bride should feel like a Princess there! more

I am a wedding photographer. Many of my brides come to me after shopping at ""A Beautiful Bride"" and they all report that they LOVED the way they were treated at that store. I have been in most of the bridal shops in Reno and my observation is that the people at A Beautiful Bride are honest and caring and will do whatever is needed to help you have a perfect wedding! All I can say is I have one ill Bride, all due to the stress caused by this store. The employees were rude to my fiancees Bridesmaids, said they were too big, and made rude comments to them during the fitting, tried to make them order dresses two sizes to big or more. My fiacee trie to cancel the order, but was tolf by the owner, it was 100% non refundable, even after her employees made my fiancee so uncomfortable. I would not recommend her store to anyone.
