This company has awesome people working for them. The staff that answered the phone when I called they were very friendly and helpful with explaining how their company does business. I went with their hourly rate which I found very reasonable even with a small fuel charge. The movers were great! I will be using A & B Movers again! more

We got the number off of one of the A & B Moving truck that we saw in our neighborhood. We gave them a call because we needed to move out of our home into our new home. We got a free estimate, a gentleman came to our home and explained all polices and procedures on how our move would be handled. On our move dated they arrived on time went over everything they would be doing and got right to work with moving our belongings. They loaded and unloaded our things in a timely manner. To start off A & B Movers were late, and at first I was a little upset and I knew my move was going to take along time, but once the movers showed up and started working I was surprise at how fast they moved and took extra attention to protect my furniture I realized how people in this business can not be punctual, I estimated this move to take more than 4 hours and in all actuality the move ended up lasting over 5 hours. I could not complain at the work performance the movers showed. Not only was I amazed at how prompt they moved, there was not a single damage that occurred. I admit I did not properly estimate the duration of my move. I now understand why they were late and why any moving company could be late. I thought I made all the proper preparations but again I was proven wrong. I am more than satisfied with the outcome of my move, and I recommend A & B Movers to everyone looking to move, and if they happen to be late but please give them a break. These guys went beyond what I was expecting. They padded and stretched wrapped my furniture to protect it from any damages! Moved my furniture to my new house with no problems and put it in the spots I needed it to go. These guys were incredible with working in the heat the way they did! A & B Movers came threw for me. I called around to five moving companies, and A & B Movers were the ones that came and helped me. My apartment was flooding and they came with no problem. I was amazed at how fast and careful they moved all my things to my new apartment. Thank you again for being there for me. I will defiantly call them again! more

Currently Im 81/2 months pregnant and I needed to be moved but needed help packing also. At the apartments I was living at one of the girls in the office recommended the company. They arrived between the times that were given and were very respectful to both me and my son. Being a single mom im on a budget and the money I spent was well worth the help. Okay so this moving company has pretty good prices when you shop around, but they have some incredibly SHADY people working for them! I made the huge mistake of using them twice. The first time A&B moved us they promised us that they'd be there at 11:00 a.m. on the day we had agreed upon, they didnt show up until almost 24 hours later! I suppose I had a major brain fart, because a few years later I called them again to move us from a home we were selling to an apartment. AGAIN they promised to be there at 11:00 a.m. and did not show up until 9:30 that night! They wanted to reschedule us for the next day, as they did not seem to understand the concept of selling and closing on a house. The two movers that showed up were high. We could smell marijuana and they were acting strange. When everything was packed up ready to go to the new house, the movers claimed they needed to stop off to get something to drink. Normally I would be fine with that because I'm considerate of other's needs, but when I'm paying someone by the hour, I would expect them to bring their own drinks and not to waste my money by making a pitstop. When they got to the new house, I noticed that they were fiddling around and moving very slowly as the it came upon a new hour. Basically what I saw was them trying to bilk us out of another hour by moving like turtles. When we went to ask them how much we owed they said that ""they could help us out, if we helped them out"" I asked what this meant and they said that they would not charge us for the new hour (about 15 minutes of their moving slowly) if we gave them a tip. This amounted in my eyes to a bribe. I was appauled at the kind of people, ie druggies and blackmailers that A&B employes. I will NEVER EVER use this company or recommend this company to anyone else.
