I was incredibly impressed with A & B Carpet Cleaners' service. Most importantly, my carpets look fantastic. The cleaning really brought them back to life. And as the mother of a one year old who is still crawling, I really appreciated the fact that they only use non-toxic cleaning products. Also, the whole process was incredibly easy. I was able to get an appointment within a day or two of calling. The technician was on-time, polite, professional, and fast. He cleaned two carpets in an hour and they were dry three hours later. I highly recommend them and will use them again. more

A young man named Eddie shows up at my door, clean-cut and professional, with a degree in communications. He measured my home and gave me a quote. I thought to myself, Ok, this is a mid-range price. But I was totally Ok with the price because of the detail and attention that he gave to the task at hand. He sprayed my entire carpet with a pretreatment solution that he explained to me was environmentally friendly and completely non-toxic. I felt good after he told me that because not only did I feel that I was contributing to saving the world by using their services, I also knew that Eddie was not being harmed by being exposed to the solution all day long, every day. The equipment Eddie used was powerful, compact, and portable. I noticed the emblem and name on the side of the machine: Ninja. Curiously, the name inspired in me a sense of confidence. The machine is a steam cleaner that deep cleans and leaves the carpet fresh and looking like new. The whole process took about one and a half hours for my two bedroom, living and dining room apartment. I asked Eddie not to do one of the bedrooms because my son was still sleep. After the carpet was cleaned, then it was time to get down to the business of payment. Eddie mentioned to me that I should not place the furniture back in its place until after about four hours. This gives the carpet time to dry. I have lived in New York City for over 20 years and I have used many carpet cleaning services; and A & B Carpet Cleaners surpasses them all by far. Their professionalism and attention to detail, along with the prompt and courteous service, all inspire me to recommend their services to all of my neighbors. These guys are the BEST! They are completely thorough, detailed, and... NICE! Every technician they send out is friendly, accommodating, and trustworthy. They know their stuff and they care! The last guy was really concerned about my cat, which was sweet. To top it off, they send you coupons to use for next time. Great way to run a business. More businesses should learn from them more

I bought carpeting here for 3 rooms after checking around at several other places. The owner came the same day to measure and look at the rooms. I ordered special carpet for 2 of the rooms and bought a large rement for the 3. The special order came in within a week so it was very fast, and they let me know as soon as the truck arrived and scheduled an appointment within 2 days. Before I decided which carpet to get they let me take the large size samples home, several times, to look at within the room and the contents at no additional charge and no deposit required. They were very friendly and accomadating. When deciding on the rement, they took me through the rolls that were on the huge racks. The owner gave me an estimate knowing which brands I was looking for before I decided and the estimate was right on target once my decision was final. There was no high pressure sales tactics used, of course they did not have to pressure me because the price was 1/2 of the price I had received from the national carpet company that always has TV commercials, and does use high pressure sales tatics, even for a deposit. When the carpet was laid, the carpet layers are the same ones that home depot contracts to lay carpet and they were very professional. They moved the larger furniture right in the room, working around it instead of moving it into a different room. They were right on time for the appointment, and did a great job around the fireplace hearth. They were friendly, and were even singing while they worked. If you are in the market for new carpeting when you are checking around I highly recommend A & B Carpet . You will save money. I know I will use them again on the next 2 rooms I need to get done. more

I have had them in several times to clean my carpets. They did a great job and were able to get out a spot from my dog that I thought would be there for life. They really know what they are doing and my carpets always come out great. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. A nice family owned company that takes a lot of pride in their work. more
