I just moved to Middletown & as a single mom worry about getting taken. When my washer broke, I searched online saw the high ratings for Action Appliance, & called. They were able to send someone out that day. (They initially said it might not be possible as due to the warm snap they were working on a lot of broken refrigerators. That to me is a sign of a company that has its priorities in order. A broken washer is not a matter of life & death, but a broken refrigerator could be. The technician was professional, friendly, & very patient with my questions. He was obviously very experienced & explained what was wrong while giving me a good lesson on how to care for the washer. He fixed it for a reasonable price. I could not be more pleased with the service & will definitely call them again the next time I have an appliance issue. more

Phoned and was pleasantly helped, gave appliance information and issue. They called back about an hour later with estimate for repair. They stated that the cost was estimated at $180 and that it was conditional that no other problems were found. During the hour I was waiting for them to call back I checked the price of the part online and it was $6.74. When they called they said a $90 deposit to reserve a repair was required so I asked when they would come and they were not willing to commit until the part came in. I felt uneasy about making a $90 deposit on a $7 part. So I said I would get other estimates and call them back. I then watched a 3 minute YouTube video on how to do the repair, which is easy enough to do with just a screw driver. They are located about 5 minutes down the road so even with travel time the project could be done in 30 minutes. I ordered the part and will do it myself and save $160. more

I recently had Chris from Action Appliance over to look at my noisy washer. One day, it started to make a banging noise and the clothes came out wet. I found Aciton Appliance Service in the internet and I am glad that I did. Chris found that the inner clothes basket had broken. The repair to my Frigidiare washer would cost more that a new one. I opted for a replacement. I will now trust Action Appliance and request Chris the next time something brakes. more

I needed to find out if I should have my Frigidare front loading washer fixed or buy a new one. All of the sudden, my machine started to make a load clanking when it spun. It shook and the clothes came out wet. I looked on the internet and found Action Appliance Repair and saw that they could come quickly. Chris showed up on time and quickly found that the tub was broken. He recommended that I look for a new washer. I can't tell you enough how pleased that I am that I was not sold a repair that would not be worth it to put good money after bad. All I had to pay was the reasonable service fee. I would recommend Action and Chris to anyone. PS. While they were here, they looked at my dryer for free. more

Woke up to find the refrigerator running but not cooling. This was a Friday before the Memorial Day weekend. Aaahhh! No one was able to come out on the same day. I was referred to Action Repair appliance. Fortunately their tech Joe was just finishing a job and could be over in an hour. I know this part was pure luck. Getting same day service on any appliance is a miracle. Kyle was on time. He is not a small talker, strictly business, but he knows his refrigerators. Thank goodness he had the part he needed on the truck. That was worth the price alone. more

We got a towel stuck in the door seal and the seal tore and water began leaking from our washer. We called Deans Appliance and he said he did not service our machine and recommended Action Appliance. They came out that day and looked at our machine and determined we needed a new door gasket, but they didn't have one in stock. They called around and found one that could be delivered a couple of days later. They scheduled my service for a couple of days later and asked if the part came in earlier if I'd be around. It worked out that the part came in a day earlier and they came later that day and had my washer back up and running ahead of schedule. And this was during the holidays! Both techs that came to my house were professional and knowledgeable. Hopefully I won't need them again any time soon, but if I do I'd use them again. more

THEY ALWAYS CAME OUT THE SAME DAY THAT I CALLED AND WITHIN THE TIME FRAME THAT I REQUESTED. THE TECH THAT COMES OUT IS ALWAYS NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I felt like a parent trying to keep a child on task. I had to call them twice to make an appointment. The first time I called, they took my information down and said they would call me back..one week passed and NO CALL! I called back. When the repair man finally shows, he Identified the problem and called the manufacturer for the necessary part. I waited 2 weeks and received NO CALL! I call to check up on the status of the part ordered. They apologized for the wait and asked if they could call me back after they check on the part.. NO CALL!! I call back the next day only to have Them tell me that the company no longer makes the part and my range is unrepairable. I call the company to double check, THEY HAD THE PART ready and waiting for A-AA to contact them ( I guess they don't know how to use a phone). I contact A-AA to see what they had to say about it. They told me it's not their fault, the part company should have contacted them. They refused to take responsibility (even if it were only to calm me down, because I was so vexed by the situation), Instead the general manager refused to do business with me because of the "Bad Blood" between us. NOT HAPPY! more

Tried working with this company and the customer service from the male manager is the WORST I have ever seen. I would warn everyone who reads this to use another company for your repairs. If they are this bad trying to set up an appointment imagion how bad they would be if you ever had a problem with there work. The company has many different names so beware! more
