AAA has dispatched A&A wrecker to my aide twice in the past year and both times it has been a total disaster beyond belief! \r

The first time I had my Cadillac arranged to be taken to the Cadillac dealer for repair and the AAA tow truck driver convinced me that he had a shop that ""could save me a ton of money over what the dealer would charge."" I reluctantly Okayed him to take it to his shop and was quoted over $900 to repair my car. I called the Cadillac dealer to see what they would charge for the same repair and they said $766. I gave this information to A&A and they said they would match their price so I went ahead and let them do the repair since the car was already there even though I would have rather had the dealer do the work. When I went to pick up the car they told me it was a little more difficult than they originally thought so they would have to stick with their initial price of $926! I complained and gave them my credit card and told them if it was a penny more than what they quoted I would do everything in my power make sure AAA never rang their phone again. $926 was charged to my card to my disbelief. I called AAA and the BBB to alert them to this crooked scam thinking I would be helping future customers from going through this same bad experience. \r

This past week I called AAA to have my Ford F250 towed to the ford dealer and had the tow truck driver phone me at work to let me know he had my F250 and was headed to the ford dealer but wanted to recommend a buddy of his that would be cheaper! Of course I told him I had ""been down that road before"" and learned the hard way so just take it to the dealer. He kept trying to convince me his guy was better but cheaper and I was busy at work and did not have time to argue so I again reluctantly said okay. Later that afternoon, his ""better but cheaper guy"" called me and said it was over his head and I needed to have it towed to the ford dealer. Here is where the real ""fun"" begins...I had the tow truck driver's phone number in my cell phone log so I just redialed him and he answered ""A&A Wrecker"" causing my jaw to drop thinking AAA would surely not dispatch them to me again after my first experience! I told him the situation and said he needed to pick my truck up from his ""buddy"" and take it to the dealer. He stated I needed to call in another claim to AAA so they would pay him again??? I told him this was his doing and he needed to make it right but he said either AAA or I had to pay! I asked to speak to his boss and he handed the phone to him who happened to be the same guy that runs the repair shop I had the run-in with my Cadillac and told me there would be a charge! When I told him for a second time I was complaining to AAA he just laughed. \r
