The guy who titled his review "poor poor poor" has no idea what he is talking about. A5.com is FAR from the only provider in town. He had his choice of cable (Insight/Comcast), DSL (available from a number of companies), satellite (granted, might not have been able to mount a dish on his building, but unlikely), etc. The only exception to this is if he was living in a college student apartment (a near-campus building where everything, including Internet access, is included). Now think about this -- imagine that you have a building full of college students all downloading music, videos, and other high-bandwidth items. You can imagine how fast the bandwidth is going to be used up. This is no fault of A5.com. It's the nature of the beast when you are sharing Internet connectivity in a building full of students. I've used A5 for years and I love it. They even have wireless service available in parts of Bloomington. It's run by a great group of guys. more

I recently moved to Bloomington, IL from Missouri. When I arrived here I rented an apartment and my only option for an internet provider is A5.com. I tried them for a month and was VERY disappointed in the quality of service they provided. My internet connection would constantly drop and when I called in to inform them about the situation they could care less. After only one month I decided to cancel my service as I would rather have dialup than their so called "Service." more

If you want an internet provider that's right in your hometown, A5 is the place to look. Friendly outgoing on-site staff who are always there when you need them gives you that homefield advantage when it comes to your information super highway. A downtown location is central to the community and all their employees are local guys and gals. It's the personal service and attention to detail that makes them so great. more
