If you happen to notice that the Quick Lubes put up a banner saying “Under new management” on a regular basis, then they have enough customers ****** off.
Once they get your car into their shop you can to be a subject to all the scams that this “professional place” can come up with, unless you watch them, but they certainly wouldn’t like it. That is what happened to me recently:
While working on my car in extremely rude manner basically have told me that: “I am talking too much, unwisely asking him disturbing questions, distracts him from his very important work, that he got a 30(thirty years) of experience with”.
All that happened only after, I start asking him questions regarding my oil change, and a level of it after he stated that: “It is done”; while he didn’t even start pouring a 5th quart of the oil into my SUV engine, by saying the: “Oil level is full and you should be Ok!”
The real mechanic that I took my SUV to in a next 30 min, has inspected it, and said that the oil change done extremely sloppy, as its can be only done, there more: lack of oil, can cause serious damage to the engine. And, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what may happen next.
Beware!!!!!!!!!! Don’t make costly mistakes, getting your car in their shop and find lots of bogus problems for now, and real serious problems later on. If you don’t want to be called names, and get aggravated obtaining that kind of “premium service”. I would STRONGLY advise anyone considering having an oil change or any other type of automotive work done to avoid these people like the plague. They are RIP OFF ARTISTS.
Pros: Don’t make costly mistakes
Cons: If you don’t want to be called names, and get aggravated
