Editorial review from Citysearch 8/23/2012

I've been a member here for almost two years. I visit the facility almost daily and have an executive locker membership and have done tanning there as well, played outdoor tennis, used the indoor and outdoor pools, the sauna and steamroom, the basketball courts, taken advatange of the free classes (there are around 50 weekly) and have used almost every single machine and visited every exercise area . After comparing facilities city wide I have found 7 Flags to be the best value in the metro area for me and my family. The kids gym is huge and is open a lot of hours weekly and there's a women's fitness area as well that my wife enjoys. It's not the most modern facility in all areas but it has everything you need to get and stay in shape. I have gotten to know various staff members and have found most to be cogenial and helpful. I have never heard a staff member use profanity and have never witnessed any being rude, if anything I've witnessed them consistently doing a great job and being friendly. I don't attend 7 Flags to be pampered, I attend to stay in shape and be left to my own devices while doing so. If you want to be pampered, this is probably not the best place and I'm glad it's not because I want a place to get in shape that is affordable with a huge variety of equipment not a place with limited facilities that costs an arm and a leg and has inconvenient hours. Most of the year you can work out here from 5am to 10:30pm, summer hours are a bit shorter. I like 7 Flags and I can't see changing anytime soon. more

Very Unprofessional 1/10/2009

I stopped in for a tour and to talk to someone about a membership. The employees who had desks by the front desk were very rude to me. The lady who had the office in the very back was on her phone using every profanity in the book. I was horrified. I stood at the front desk for at least five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. I do not recommend this facility to anyone. more

Not so good anymore. 2/9/2008

I have been a member for a couple years and havent been going lately. But recently took a friend to sign up and I hate to say the last rating was right on. They herded us through like cattle. Not like when I signed up. It was a real nice experience and I had someone who took an intrest in us getting to know the place. Had a real nice tour.\r But this time you could really tell they didn't care like before. \r And I also have one more complaint about the place.\r I wish they would put the indoor soccer players on one of there many tennis courts and keep them out of the gym. The gym is to small for soccer and basketball at the same time.\r I dont see why they just cant petition of one tennis court to accomodate those people? And what happened to the raquetball??? more

Very unprofessional. 2/6/2008

The new management at 7flags is completely unprofessional and does not understand how to deal with prospective members in a timely manner. The staff was unmotivated, and lacked any kind of excitement. The did not attemp to get to know myself or my family and shuttled us through the club very quickly like cattle. Not a place I would want to spend time at. more
