I'm not new to the smog program, having lived in LA for many years. Recently I came across this place and I very much enjoyed this place.... based on other reviewers they really raved about the service and quality, and I could not agree more. They are fast, courteous, and really put up with my 1988 Toyota Tercel, which still passed by the way. more

Quality rarely found in automotive 3/30/2009

As a single woman I dont know much about cars, nor do I want to be, but I trust these guys with my smogs. Rey (a woman tech!) is super friendly, super smart, and they have everything you need while you wait for the smog.... snacking on Doritos, drink a Pepsi, or do some work with your laptop, all doable! Unlike other places 2/6/2009

Simply, they are the best. Friendly people, knowledgable, and you can trust that you won't lose your shirt getting your car smogged with them. Their tagline ""Fastest, Friendliest Smog in Town"" is true. Just find out for yourself. Pros: Cream of the crop, by far Cons: Parking on weekends more

Good replacement while renovating 11/18/2008

I called this place first and they referred me to another place in Richmond, and I have to say that they treat me well.... the specific testimonial for them is in the other place. But the Berkeley shop is much closer to where I live. more

They know customer service... 11/13/2008

One of the best service establishments I know... you usually are wary of mechanics and the like, since they can easily cheat you on things you don't know much about (although you drive it every single day!). But these guys are professionals, honest, and fast! Check out their temporary locations while they are renovating, I tried their Concord location near work, and was equally impressed. more

Great experience, times three! 10/24/2008

Came in six months ago for a smog check, but my car failed. I really appreciate what they did though, because they did spend a lot of time trying to make it work, but it just wasnt meant to be for my 89 Civic. \r \r But they gave me a free re-test anyway, and I came in again in August. I still failed, and I got another free re-test! Finally, third time is the charm, and I passed. \r \r This is the best place, and they do bend over backwards to make you satisfied. more

This is the best smog 10/20/2008

Simply the best!!!! Fast, friendly, honest, and they tried like heck to make you pass. Definitely unlike some other BS places where they yell and bark at you for coming to them. I went here last week and they are close for renovations, but I am officially starting a ""please reopen 7 Days A Week Smog campaign""!!!! We miss you! more
