4th Street Live

I really like 4th Street Live. There is a great mix of restaurants and clubs, and the free concerts are cool. When the weather is nice, it's great to dine at one of the restaurants with outdoor seating. Most of the places still have a roof, so even if it's raining you can enjoy people watching while munching with your friends. There are only a few problems with an otherwise awesome complex. You have all these cool restaurants...and then a boring TGIFridays and CVS Pharmacy. I don't really get that, plus there's only one store - Borders. Maybe they could put some fun stores in around there. You have to check out The Pub. It's a great British pub that has excellent food and drinks, plus a cool interior. There's an "Irish" place a couple doors down, but I don't really see what's Irish about it besides the name. If you don't like crowds, then go on a week night. It's easy to find parking AND a table! more

4th Street Live is located in downtown Louisville where the Galleria used to be. It is a new idea for Louisville. There is a mix of great restaurants, shopping, and clubs there. During the day, it is geared toward tourists and the people working in downtown for a place to go for lunch. At night, it is mostly geared toward adults, but on Sundays, they have family friendly events. The Sundays are called Fundays and are mostly sponsored by Radio Disney. more

This has become a real fun and entertaining place to visit. They've completely changed things down there and have added great fun spots for live music and entertainment. There's always something a little different and fun to be had by you and your friends. Great food, cool sounds and a beautiful atmosphere. One thing that's a little crazy is the dress codes they enforce down there. I guess some of it is OK, but some I don't agree with personally. more
