$49.99 Sewer Service

Bronx-Sept-2013--Had a main sewer backup- called $49.99 sewer service in Flushing and in about 45min - tech showed up- showed him the job and he went to work- Cheez he tried to clear it by hand by pulling alot of preliminary balls of grease,goop and slop out of drain- so we could get rid of standing water- then he put in the rooter machine- Some private homes here in the Bronx are unusual as it is a looonng way to the city connection- His machine went 75 feet -(even the oil man brings the 200 foot hose to fill tanks) So it cleared the 75 ft but not enough to reach the city main- this guy did many options to try and clear it out- He was going to use CO2 charge- which he says works 90% of the time-but he thought it would be better and we agreed to clean out the drain by machine all the way. Unfortunately he didn't have the heavy duty machine with the 150ft rooter- no problem -alot of water went down and we agreed to have another tech come the next day since it was getting late in the afternoon- Since he couldn't clear the drain we were not charged the full $49.99 but like $30 something bucks for a service charge- Hey that was great! this guy was considerate and hard working to help people- he realized that people were counting on him- What a great attitude!- Next day by afternoon they called me when tech was coming- 2 guys came- They brought in the Heavy Duty rooter machine - used the regular 75ft first again and then the 150ft machine- cleaned right to the city hook up and we heard that gurgle and water disappeared --pulled out some more tree roots and grease and paper towels-( tenants no paper towels down the drain)-- they didn't leave right away either-we tested by flushing the toilets-running sink water and garden hose water too down the main drain; like flooding it with water- they Stayed until we were ALL satisfied drain was good to go. Our sewer line was 125 ft to the city line. Average homes are 50-65 feet--They cleaned up their work area. Before they did anything we discussed the price and it was well worth it- Sewer line should be good for another 50 years!- this was the only time we had sewer line rootered out since owning the house almost 40 years- so it was $350-we paid cash- and toll to Bronx was $15- plus 2 bucks as I was told when i called initially for appointment for their travel time. We had our online $5 coupon applied to bill too- Ha- They were here the 2nd day for about 90 minutes- as was the first day Tech--hey look I don't spend freely- I'm retired on a fixed income- this is a large 3 family house-you have to talk to working people as we all are in the same boat-there was a good repore- Techs were knowledgeable-courteous and considerate -This is not something we could have done - but like anything else"" SHOP & COMPARE""-...if your not sure- We were super satisfied with the results- I would call them again and recommend $49.99 sewer service again- Thx Emanuel- Rod- and Richard-\r HAPPY FLUSHING!\r more

I needed them to come snake my toilet, and $49.99 seemed to be a good deal to me. The guy comes and tells me it is going to cost $200, not $50 or $60 tops I was hoping for. It seems that this is a $49.99 service charge,plus the cost of them actually doing something. Plus, this guy had an attitude as if he was doing it for free or something, I just wanted him to come and do his job. For $200, I can use a different plumber who is not so difficult to work with...or has such a dishonest company name more

bait and switch! When the guy showed up, he said it would cost more than the $49.99. $200.00 to be exact. more

These guys are the best. I called them at around 11pm on saturday night and their tech was at my house in about 35 minutes. My whole basement was flooded. He opened the trap and snaked the main sewer lines. As soon as he cleared the line all the water went down and i am so glad that it didnt cause any big damage to my basement just because they responded so quickly. After the tech was done gave me few tips on how to prevent this from happening in future. Charged me $49.99 + tax for the whole job. more

I am very grateful for $49.99 Sewer Service for solving this long time problem of sewer line that kept backing up into the basement. I called several companies and everyone tried but nobody could unclog it. I even tried those expensive companies which drained my vaulet but still couldnt do it. $49.99's guy came and i was amazed that he cleared the line in max 20 minutes. I got the warranty on work and best of all i paid $49.99 plus tax for the whole job. $49.99 sewer service is my permanent contractor from now on. I was very happy with the service and their price is amazing. You can feel very confident calling them for a sewer and drain problem. more

I am so pleased i called these people. Had a very bad sewer backup in my basement. Called them around 9 pm and their tech was at my house within an hour. Very professional and courteous, his name was Rod. He snaked the line out as they say it and all the water went down. Charged me only $49.99 plus tax. He even cleaned the area once he was done. I would recommend them to everyone. more

In 2008 my sewage got backed up because of root problems and I called a plumbing company. The plumber snaked the main sewage line from outside vent in front of my house and it worked for almost 18 months. Cons: Actual service is not as advertised more

I have had several sewer cleaning come and clean my clogged sewer line in last 2 years. None of them performed according to my satisfaction and specially for this much of a low price. Their mechanic not only cleared the main sewer line properly but also cleaned up all the mess which was caused by the backup in line. I was very happy with his nice attitude and professionalism. more

Had a really bad backup in sewer line on wednesday night. Called them at midnight and surprisingly their technician came within 25 minutes. He unclogged the main sewer line out to city and charged me just $49.99. I will recommend them to all my relatives and friends. Pros: Best service at a low price of just $49.99 more

This company sent out a guy who said that he didn't have the right tools on his truck. This was after he worked on the drains and made a mess of the entire apartment. No drains were unclogged. We spent hours afterward cleaning grime from cabinets, floors, fixtures etc.. This was a huge waste of time and money. Don't even think about calling this company! Cons: Waste of time and money more

This company sent out a technician who did not unclog a single drain. He said that this was 'normal' and that some drains are just 'slow'. He demanded payment for the visit. He made a huge mess - black gook everywhere. The next day my entire place flooded. He broke the pipes. The owner denied any wrong doing and said he would send out a tech that day. He never did then called me a liar and told me to take him to court. Stay Away. Use a real plumber. This company will ruin your pipes. Cons: Incompetent more

I can't think of the last time I threw money down the drain more easily than by paying these guys to help me. They are lazy and increadibly rude. The guy who came to my house created problems as soon as he walked in the bathroom and saw my tub backed-up. He snaked it but could not solve it and then said the problem needed to be cleared by going through the cealing in my downstairs neighbor. I asked them to just go through the sink, next to the tub, but said it would cost a lot more to move the (pedestal) sink. After he left, I went to home depot, bought a Kleer Drain kit and in 5 minutes my drain was working beautifully, as it never did before. I know you are saying the snake might have helped, but I am sorry to disappoint you in that regard. When the $49.99 man left the tub was still backed up. The best part, the kleer drain cost me only $25!!! Do not call $49.99 for do-it-yourself matters. Cons: Misleading more

I am glad i found this company. Used different companies before for my constant drain problem but everytime paid hundreds of dollars. These guys only charge $49 and not only that they gave me $5.00 off on top of it as i printed their coupon from their website. I highly recommend them. more
