No longer Chinese/American. Now it's the new Gordo's. But, don't get too excited. The quality has really gone downhill. I was a regular Gordo's customer (1-2x per week) for 45+ years until they moved to the dive on 44th. I'm finally done. Their food is good (not great) one night and terrible the next. Their to-go quarts of chili, beans, etc. are always 3-6 oz short (I measure). They are very inconsistant: sometimes sauce on the (undercooked) rice, sometimes not; portions can vary by 50% for the same item; tomatoes on the tostadas? - maybe; often undercooked or overcooked or cold. Too bad - this used to be my favorite; now I'd rather eat at Taco Bell. The 44th Ave grill has destroyed Gordo's reputation (sorry Lon). Sad.
Pros: At least I didn't get sick
Cons: Smells like a cheap dive, full of loud drunks
