Everything you ever wanted to know about Ocean Drive Estates \r

GreyStar is a property management for Ocean Drive Villas I-VI L, which in turn is a partnership ownership for Ocean Drive Estates. All though on your lease it will state that Ocean Drive Estates is the owner of the property. (not sure why they want to state that cause it is not true).\r

Well anyway this company is based out of California and all though this is the name of it as far as the Corpus Christi, Texas property tax appraiser is concern it is not what the real name that lies in California under that address listed for them there in that state. (strange I know).\r

It is a older apartment complex built around in the 1960's and I must admit that it looks pretty good in the pictures they show on their website (where is this place I want to know).. and the front entrance looks pretty good as well. But if you drive on in get ready to expect the worse because this is exactly what it is you get what you pay for - the high cost apartments but it still looks like the ghetto (priceless).\r

Think about driving by the ghetto afterwards and you won't see much of a difference. (your car may get broken into here at Ocean Drive Estates, there will be graffiti on the walls at times and drug dealers, wondering around, and your clothes might get stolen when you do the laundry. \r

About the only thing I have not heard yet is a gun shost. So with this being said it is a bit promising to live here after all.\r

It sits in front of a grave yard, but don't think it is too quiet here. On the weekends starting on Thursday it is a big party.\r

So who runs the property?\r

Well Greystar does and if you know anything about Greystar like I do it seems they are all smoke and mirrors below is something from their property websites, I assume it is on all their property apartment complex's. \r

These are of course just words to make you think they are something great but to the many of us that do live here this is far from the truth. The reason this is not true is because they don't have the ""funding"" times is hard you know the economy is bad. But little behold they are still collecting the rent and renting out apartments of course. But still don't have the ""funding"" (strange I know).\r
