This company may be wonderful, but I will not have the chance to know. I already had another company diagnose my problem but quoted an exorbitant price to fix it. I have part numbers, serial numbers and know exactly what is wrong with my unit. 2nd Wind would not even try to offer a ball-park figure for repair. The only thing they could offer is for their technician to come, me to pay more money, and THEN they could give me an estimate. Oh well, at least other companies I've called will try to give me an estimate. Looks as if I won't be trying 2nd Wind as a company. more

Great Work 9/6/2011

The owners of the house I am renting had the AC fixed by this company and they did a great job. Although I do not know what the cost was, I can tell you it was well worth it. The man that came to my home was very professional and had the job complete within a hour. Great job! more

World Class Service 5/23/2011

When I turned on my heater a cool evening, I found that it would not turn on! I called several businesses in the are but decided to hire 2nd Wind Heating & Air mostly because they were so kind and helpful over the phone. I figured that if they were that professional over the phone, then they would be great to work with - and they were! The worker came to my house as scheduled, finished the work reasonably quick and left his workspace spotless. more

When my unit needed service I didn’t know who to call. I found them in the phone book, I guess I was lucky to find a good company. Easy and hassle free, the way it’s supposed to be. more

Great service every time! 5/13/2011

Our air conditioner/heat pump quit working on Tuesday night. Since we are fairly new to the Columbia, area we contacted 2nd Wind because of the reputation your company has. Our service call was completed within one hour. We were very satisfied with the technician and the ability to diagnose and correct the problem in a short time. We are also an employee-owned commercial general contractor who will keep your company in mind for future work we may have in the Columbia area. Thank you again for your professional and friendly staff from the initial call until the technician was done! more

Impressed 5/4/2011

During the recent drop in temperatures we have experienced in Columbia we decided to turn on the heat only to find that it was not working. I called 2nd Wind first thing Monday morning and they arrived to my home shortly after the call. Shortly after their arrival, the tech determined what the problem was and explained to us in detail out options which involved either repairing or replacing the unit. I had 2nd Wind replace the unit, and in doing do I was very impressed with the work they did, and have requested that the same technician be my technician going forward. more

I want to express my appreciation for 2nd Wind's consistent great service. Their commitment to ensuring that scheduled appointments are met is terrific! Very Impressed! 4/14/2011

I just want to say how impressed I am with the professionalism and competency of the 2nd Wind team that just replaced my entire ductwork. I found I had a severe problem with moisture in my old ductwork and realized I needed to have it replaced. I decided to go with 2nd Wind based on the outstanding work they did recently in fixing my daughter’s problems with her house air conditioning & ductwork. They did an excellent job, and were very considerate to let us know the times they would be working. When all was done they did a thorough job of cleaning up the work area and walking me through all the work that was done to ensure they met my expectations. more

Good Experience! 4/8/2011

I just had all new ductwork and a new unit installed at my home. The whole experience was a good one for me. The technician carefully explained to me what was needed and even came back after the work was completed to make sure everything was up to par. Everyone was professional, courteous and hardworking. They made every effort to clean up as they went along which I greatly appreciated. more
