A group of 12 of us went to Walla Walla for a relaxing weekend and some good times. We had made reservations 1 month in advance at what we were told was a fabulous restaurant The Whitehouse Crawford. Only to find out the night before our departure they wanted us to pick 3 entrees, 2 salads, and beverages for the group to set the menu (oh and we could not even choose the desserts they would do that for US). All after being told a full menu would be fine as long as we understood it may take longer-surely that was not a problem. Long story short they ended up cancelling our reservations the night before we were to dine with them b/c they could ""not accommodate our party any longer"". We could not believe such a highly recommended restaurant would behave in such a manner. Needless to say the lovely people at out hotel (Marcus Whitman) recommended we dine at 26 Brix and without question they took our reservations with ease. What an amazing dining experience we had. Everyone there was a pleasure to speak with (they did not know of our experience with WHC until the end) and to top it off THE FOOD WAS TO DIE FOR! Everyone in our party loves to eat and has eaten all around the city of Seattle from the best to the worst - but this is, hands down, by far one of the best places any of us have dined at. The food and service was excellent - I believe it was described by our party as a ""flavor org*sm"". Our next trip to Walla Walla will no longer just be for the wineries but to enjoy another experience at 26 Brix - OUTSTANDING! So thank you and hats off to the Whitehouse Crawford for being so bitchy and impossible to work with (don't have a restaurant with a large private dining room if you can't accommodate a large party, DUH), without you we would never have found out about 26 Brix and their FABULOUS food.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
