After a long few weeks, we wanted to have a nice meal at a nice restaurant. So we were referred to 231 Ellsworth. We enjoyed the Roasted Squab with Chanterrelle mushrooms and Foie Gras sauce, chocolate fondant, and excellent wine recommendation. However, our waiter seemed very impatient, even rolling his eyes at us because we did not order right away. After talking to the manager about it, the service was a little better, but we really expected more from a fine restaurant. I also ordered the roasted squab to be cooked medium, and received it pink. The food was good, but we would be hesitant to return again due to the service. First impressions are very important, and we did not receive a very good one.
