My desire to become a physician began when I was in high school. Two factors were really responsible for this. The first was the knowledge I received in my very first anatomy class. As I started to learn about the frame and function of the human body, I became completely amazed. I just could not fathom how truly perfect our divine design was. The more I learned, the deeper my desires to become a doctor grew. The second factor was becoming a patient myself and loosing the ability to do what I truly loved at the time... playing soccer. Over the course of several years, I underwent four separate orthopedic surgeries to repair soccer related injuries. With each new injury I was forced to take time off from the things that I loved most in life and had to watch from the sidelines as my friends continued to live life to the fullest without me. That was really the point when I decided that I wanted to become a doctor some day. I wanted to help people regain their health so that they could once again do the things in life that they loved most.
I still love soccer, but today my passion is much different than it was back then. My passion is now my career as a chiropractic physician. I absolutely love removing interference in the nervous system through the power of a chiropractic adjustment! After a long journey of learning, I have finally realized that chiropractic care is not so much about back and neck pain, but more about helping people achieve a higher quality of life by regaining their health. See, when you're sick and in pain you don’t have the time, energy or ability to get the most out of your time with your loved ones.
