Old-time restaurant in the middle of small town, farming communities. If you're looking for fancy uppity-fare, don't stop (not that you would by looking at it). Hometown atmosphere, all walks of life and occupation spinning yarns and enjoying great food. Breakfast served anytime, which usually gets me. Traveler's breakfast - 2 eggs, choice of meat (bacon, sausage, smoked sausage), toast, american fries (with crunchy brown edges), coffee or oj for less than $6. When I've gotten past my breakfast usually, the tenderloin is bigger than a frisbee and much tastier, fries, chicken and onion rings are great as well. Hamburgers... yummy... haven't had anything bad except for the bean soup, but that was remidied with a piece of homemade peach cobbler... heaven! Might have to wait a little or not sit at your favorite table during the lunch rush, but you won't be sorry.
Pros: everything on the menu is good
Cons: stuffed wildlife recently added to the walls
