be aware there are many thieves living at 201 west Hermosa Dr Tempe,Az. Within two weeks I have had someone steal off of my rental truck,then what they do next is to remove the nut bolts from your tires one at a time,then come back and take your tire rim and all,leaving your car flat on the ground..Be sure to check you tires to count to see of any nut bolts are missing. They take them off one at a time so you don't notice they come back and that makes it easier to take your tire without notice. Be aware parking behind building D. You can also go on line to find out all the crimes that have happen that management don't tell you about be fore you sign the lease. RENTERS' BEWARE. ITS NOT AS SAFE AS THEY SAY. RENTERS CHECK OUT THE CRIME REPORT BEFORE YOU MOVE HERE. more

Whoever gave the 5 star review has to be an employee.\r \r Most of the buildings have roaches, the pools are green half the year, the management staff rotates faster than the tenants since they went section 8 and they are mean, the new maintenance staff is a joke, the water billing is shady (you wont get a bill, they tell you how much you owe and it jumps around every month, call the water company, bet they lied about your sq. footage to up your rate) the sprinklers, that you pay for, are on unneccessarily leaving puddles that attract hoardes of bees and mess up the yards and walkways, and the only time they bother w/ upkeep is once every 4 months when the owner comes by to check on it. They control the heat/ac so prepare to roast and freeze as they never have it on when they say they will.\r \r under the old management this place was decent. Now its just slum lords and slummier tenants. more

I would NEVER refer anyone to this apartment community. The office staff is rude, they lie to cover their own asses and they believe in the if you kiss my ass enough, I'll like you. They lost our money order payment for rent (which have proof that we paid it), they said the heat would be turned on in late October, it wasn't turned on until the second week of December. and Its funny how they say no aggressive breeds, well there are more than 30 aggressive dogs in the complex, and the office knows about t all of them. Don't get me wrong having the electric included is great but we should be able to turn the heat ourselves. They also need to get the priorities straight when someone puts in a work order. When we first moved in, we had an electric smoke dectector which was broke and it took them almost two months to fix it but was in here the next day for a broken towel rack... so be will to pay a little extea and find a bertter place to live... more

Ignore the "AWESOME" reviews on this place...maybe if management would stop writing their own reviews & actually fix things around the complex they wouldn't have such bad reviews :) Central AC delivers cold air, however the blowers in the individual apartments do not work what soever. It was 89 degrees in the living room with the AC on full blast, running 24hrs/day. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even a stray dog. By the way, the office staff is the farthest thing from nice. The management group rotates staff members like crazy. Some of them even steal mail parcels from residents, as all large packages get left in the office rather than a secure mail drop. more

I love these apartments! The office people are extremely nice and work gets done quick. The fact that they include all utilities makes my life so much easier. I am renewing my lease for another year and couldn't ever see my self living at another community! more
