HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 10/4/2010

I heard and read many horror stories about moving companies. This was my very first time hiring movers. After many quotes later, 1st Dallas Movers quoted one of the better rates. The two movers were not only on time, but 10 minutes early! The clock started when they began the actual move. The two movers were quite friendly... as I was doing some last minute cleaning, they'd offer to move/carry anything I was holding that appeared hefty. They wrapped everything quite well to prevent dings. They were careful, yet fast. 3 hours later, they moved a large two bedroom ap!!! more

I found these guys by reading the reviews of them on on judys book! and wanted to include my shout out as well. Hands down a great experience. The guys were running late (terrible weather), but they called and let me know and kept me updated of their progress. Once they arrived they were quick, efficient, helpful and friendly. I've recommended them to several friends since I used them last summer. Would absolutely use them again. more

Great movers 9/13/2010

These guys are great! I've moved every 2 years for the last decade, and I've had some bad moving experiences - but this wasn't one of them. Bekins lost some of my stuff and wouldn't own up to their mistake. Allied had grumpy workers who dropped constant hints about their upcoming tip. These guys were professional, fast, and really efficient. I moved a 3-room apartment in Dallas, with a drop-off at a 3rd location, in about 3.5 hours. I'd go to these guys again in a New York minute. more

These guys were dynamite!!! 8/24/2010

They called when they were on their way and were super fast when they were on the job. They were done about an hour before they predicted...we moved all of the odd-sized and fragile things ourselves so 1st Dallas Movers only had to move boxes and furniture. All this and they were super funny to boot, which helps take the stress out of moving. Their hourly rate may be higher than some companies, but they more than made up for it in speed and professionalism...it'd be easy to spend more money on a slower crew with a lower hourly rate. And besides, you work hard for your things...why trust your stuff to anyone but the best? I can't recommend them enough. more

Best Movers! 8/23/2010

Great guys!! We moved from a two bedroom duplex (2nd floor with a really narrow awkward staircase) to a two bedroom house a couple miles away. Three movers - fast, strong and very friendly. I definitely recommend these guys!! more

I am very happy with 1st Dallas Movers. They were willing and able to set up a small move of my office at short notice and cut me a very good deal. The crew over there is very prompt, professional, and responsive. I would totally use them again. more

Just Fabulous 7/21/2010

I am completely impressed with these guys... I didn't think my couch would fit in my new place, and I was right! It wouldn't go up the stairway. So what did these guys do? They hoisted it up over my balcony with their little strap thingys! I am soooooo happy. Now how am I suppose to get it down when I move again? I guess I better keep their number! more

Great experience 6/16/2010

I had a great experience working with 1st Dallas Movers?. They sent over four men and all of them were nice, polite, and highly professional. The fear of working with an hourly rate is of course that the labor will dawdle, but this was not the case at all. They were quick and efficient from start to finish. The price was right too. I am so glad I went with them. I highly recommend working with them. At the end of the day, I had absolutely no complaints. The guys even finished the job earlier than I expected.? more

Great Movers, Low Prices! 6/4/2010

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the efforts of a few of your employees. We used your services (for the second time) to move my family from a third floor apartment to our new home 6 miles away. A few of your employees, were the lucky guys that got to carry our furniture down three flights of stairs. They did so with great care and speed. A couple pieces were quite heavy, but your men took it in stride and got the job done. They loaded our three bedroom apartment into the truck and then into our new home in less than 5 1/2 hours. They treated our furniture as if it were their own and did not damage anything. They should be commended for their work ethic. It is nice to know that there are still companies out there that care about customers and live up to their advertisements. more
