Great locksmith service! 11/24/2011

Needed to change the locks in our new house. Called 149th st security & key because of the referral from my neighbor and they delivered. They made an appointment over the phone and they showed up within the agreed upon time frame. He walked me through everything he was doing, and changed our 3 locks lickity-split. Charged us exactly what he had quoted and even threw in a couple of extra key copies for us. more

They were very timely. Showed up when they said they would. The locksmith was very friendly and courtous. He knew exactly what was wrong with my lock, and he knew just the way to fix it up. Thanks dude. more

Recommended 6/27/2011

Getting a good locksmith is very hard these days. A couple of days ago I used 149th st security & key. The locksmith was professional and efficient. He did his job very quick and neat. I am sure if I ever have to used a locksmith again I will call them. more

I needed a window guard installed. I called 149th St security & key. The dispatcher was pleased to say " sure we can have a locksmith out to you very shortly" In about 30 minutes I had a locksmith at my door with tape in hand to measure the size of window guard I would be needing. The next evening he came back with the window guard to install it. Thanks for your good job. more

QUICK, EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, NICE. 2/26/2011

My roommate locked me out on our balcony and as karma would have it she left her keys in the house and left out the front door. We were both locked out on different sides. We called 149th st security & key and they said they'd be there in 25 minutes. 25 minutes later they were here and we were back in our house in less than 2 minutes. QUICK, EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, NICE. I would highly recommend them if you are ever in a bind. or get stuck on your balcony. more

149th st security & key are the best locksmith service providers ever! They are prompt and they are reliable. Whenever you need them or wherever you are, they will be able to help you out. They came to my aid when I was locked out of my car very late at night. The best part is they have the most reasonable prices! more

I to am a locksmith. Have been since 1982, and I highly recommend 149th st security & key. They have a large amount of experience, is loyal, and his work ethic exceptional. If he cant solve your lock problem He will refer you to another Locksmith who he knows to be dependable and of the the same caliber as himself. For those in the Bronx and Manhattan areas he should be your first call. more

We had our high security locks changed on 5 doors and they are the only locksmith in town that had the quality locks and service for such a great price. Professionally answered all my questions finished the job in no time. would recommended to anyone. Thank you more

Recommend these guys 1/11/2011

I would recommend 149th Street Security & Key. The locksmith was on-time, very knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, just all around great locksmith. I was weary about hiring a locksmith because I have heard of so many horror stories. 149th Street Security & Key had a pretty good price. I was more than happy with the results. If you ever need your keys replaced or retumbled I would go straight to these guys. more

Great Locksmiths 11/30/2010

149 th St Security & Key I called for an estimate/assessment of damage after our door had been kicked in, and they came over within 30 minutes. They were so honest that after looking things over, they told us our locks were actually in secure shape and better than anything they could replace them with, and told us to just make sure the dead bolt was always used. more
