One of the worst renting experiences of my life.
Management is extremely cheap and negligent.
I don't think this is legal -- but they cut off the water EVERY TUESDAY, sometimes for 8-10 hours. No drinking water, can't cook, can't wash hands, can't flush the toilet (which means no going to the bathroom or leave human excrement sitting in the bowl all day), can't shower or bathe, can't clean.
Sewage problems are a regular here. One day coming home from work, I had to wade through a couple inches of sewage water to get into the front lobby, and the parking garage was flooded. DISGUSTING. Expect to see the plumber's van parked outside on the regular.
One morning at 6am, the manager, Dave, repeatedly called me to tell me I couldn't take a shower before work because the apartment downstairs had sewage water leaking into their apartment. Other times we find notes stuffed into the door informing us that other apartments below have similar problems and we therefore can't use any running water for indefinite periods of time.
They just started installing wood laminate in some of the apartments (ostensibly to jack up the rent), and they are now sawing all day in our courtyard by the pool. Plastic sawdust is EVERYWHERE in the air, our apartment is filled with it, and frankly, my lungs hurt. The door and windows have been sealed shut, no less. We called to see if anything could be done (aren't there companies that do this off-site, instead of directly under our porch? There goes that CHEAP thing again), and this is what the manager told us: ""Why don't you leave the apartment if it's so bad?"" And then, ""I can get them to pause the sawing for 15 minutes, so if you feel you need to get out of the apartment for health reasons, you can leave now."" That's the extent of consideration and accommodation you will receive in this building.
The list could go on, but trying to come up with a comprehensive one would probably drive me to the brink of insanity. Stay away from this place.
