Best

This store sells a good quality ink cartridge for my HP printer. Their service has always been good, nothing out of this world, but it works for me.

Good products with a decent service 8/30/2011

Very good prices, friendly service 8/24/2011

They have a new sales person who is friendly and courteous. Previously i felt the person who attended the store did not give as much attention to help you find whats best suited for your needs. But I like their products and they have earned my repeat business. Price on ink is very good and i will be back. more

Tough on parking, but worth it 6/25/2011

Although this store is convenient for people who live within a couple of blocks, its tough for an out of towner because its dead in the center of Los Angeles downtown (approx 7th and Olive) and the parking is non-existent. I called ahead to see if they carried my toner (Dell 1710, its a beast and I wish I didn't have it because its so expensive), but 123 refills carried the replacement toner (not original) at about 1/2 the price (still a bit of change, but i would never pay full price). So far so good, it prints well and i can say I'm satisfied. more

Great price on ink refills 3/3/2009

I have used them twice now, I take my hp 56 ink cartridges to them and they refill in a few mins and charge me bout 1/2 price compared to rite aid down the street. Quality so far is perfect more

123Refills resettleable chips helps get around HP's Greed! 2/13/2009

I recently purchased ""resettable chips"" for my HP Business Inkjet printer cartridges and now I have two years of being able to refill these cartridges myself for pennies a refill for less than the price of one ink cartridge at retail. One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to know I am saving a great deal of $. Thank you 123Refills for helping me get around HP's greed! Pros: Save big by refilling your printer cartridges Cons: It's a little messy and it takes a little practice more

toner prices are good 1/23/2009

they are not the cheapest, and although their window signage says ""up to 70% off"" the best ive been able to save with them is around 40%. maybe its the printer i have, but regardless, im not complaining, its still a good deal. they refill the toners in the back (you can hear the machines buzzing and see the technicians through a small window), but they dont offer to refill YOUR same toner cartridge. not a problem for me though. they will exchange your toner cartridge for a ""prefilled"" one, which in my case costs around 40% less than the original. oh, they also gave me $3 off for my empty which they say they use in their remanufacturing process to replete their stocks. not a bad deal.\r \r my brother is a TN430, but they give me the TN460 which they say is higher page yield. i havent verified yet because i havent run out of toner, but so far so good.\r \r i asked them how i can save ""70%"", they offered me a few examples, like their continuous ink system. i might try that in the future and report back if its really 70% cheaper. Pros: variety of ink or toner (claim to be more than staples) Cons: closed most of the day saturday and sunday more

great price on ink refills 1/23/2009

The store is located on 7th Street, just east of Grand, in downtown LA. I' ve walked by it a few times, but never thought of trying it in the past because I have tried ink refills from Walgreens in the past and I wasn't happy with the quality. However, I'm glad I finally tried 123 Refills, because they are very professional at what they do, and the quality of the cartridges I had refilled with them works perfectly so far. I walked inside around lunch time, they were quite busy (3-4 people ahead of me, only 1 cashier). The cashier told me their busiest time is between 11am - 2pm, so I'd recommend going in a little earlier or a little later than that. They take their time with each customer (which is both a good and a bad thing - great for the customer being served, but the rest have to wait a little longer). \r \r Make sure to take your empty cartridges with you, because you may get a better price. I needed ink for my Hewlett Packard inkjet printer, and it was cheaper for me to take in my HP ink cartridges for refill.\r They had a promotion, $4.99 to refill the black cartridge and $13.99 for the color ($18 for both cartridges, which is a steal compared to the $45+ these cost at Office Depot). The process was simple: I handed them my empty cartridges, and they presented me with a ""work order"" receipt and an estimated time for my cartridges to be ready (20 minutes). I was told to come back after 20 minutes (or later), and I could pay when I pick up the refilled cartridges. Apart from the slight inconvenience of having to wait for the refills (which in the end I don't mind because the cost savings are just so much higher, and they recycle the cartridges which keeps them out of landfills), the experience was super, and the quality has been great.\r I did ask them whether the procedure is the same for my Canon ink printer (uses Canon CLI8 cartridges), but for those they don't offer any discounts for your empty cartridges, they sell you prefilled ones. Pros: price, quality Cons: parking, busy at lunch time more
