When I ordered my bridesmaid dress in person, I was very specific about the details on the dress. I pointed out the dress in the catalog and told them the specific colors of each part--black dress with claret (red) sash. The lady that helped me and took my measurements was great and very personable. However, when I picked up my dress almost 3 months later when it came in, I found that it was not the one I ordered. It was all red--no black and red-- just all red. The older woman helping me passed me off to another older woman ( I assume she was the owner??) who told me that since I had signed for the dress that it was what I ordered and that she couldn't do anything for me. No ""oh, I'm so sorry this has happened""...no ""let me call right away and see what we can do"". Nothing. They did, however, put my receipt in a random pile and said they would call the maker of the dress on Monday to see if they had somethign in stock.
Pros: They can order almost any dress for you....
Cons: They may order the wrong dress and you're stuck with it--no help afterward.
