This little family owned restaurant may not look like much tucked away in a converted house on Old Hwy 78 but behind that security door lies some of the best home cooking around. The fried green tomatoes are NOT to be missed! As someone born and raised in the south I have eaten many and these are by far the absolute BEST. You always have your choice of meat and vegetables, burgers, sandwiches and salads. The salads are huge. Two people could easily share one. Everyday they offer different meat and veggie selections. The desserts are really large portions, again those can be shared. Breakfast is fantastic, the pancakes are bigger than the plate and the steak biscuits are heavenly and great if your in a hurry and need something to go. This is a place to take the family or to go for breakfast or lunch from work. YUMMY!
