This was my 1st ever experience with a Spa and it did not dissapoint. I was really nervous at 1st because I weigh about 260 but once I was there I never once felt self concious about it. My 1st treatment was a saltglow scrub and tub soak. The lady that did the treatment was great. they do the front and back of your legs, arms, feet, hands and your back. When they leave you to get in the tub, if you would also like to apply the scrub to your front torso and behind so they aren't left out, they leave you a cup of the scrub to apply yourself, which I did. The tub was AWESOME. for me the only thing to make this treatment better would be to add some aromatherapy of somekind. When I was done I was escorted to the waiting area in the back. Couches were dreamy comfy and the sound of running water was nice and the light were low. It was however, kind of distracting, to hear people working out above, but the spa can't help that. The second treatment was my massage. It was wonderful. Their tables are even heated. They asked if there was anything in particular I wanted them to concentrate on and how firm I wanted the massage. I was a limp noodle when they were done. Back to the waiting area where I relaxed. They came and got me for lunch. It was in a small tea room and was nice, though my salad was missing some of the items that were listed on the Wild Iris menu. After lunch it was back in the waiting room. My next treatment was the facial. I was kind of dreading that part because I was afraid they would try to push all kids of expensive products on me but much to my plesant surprise they didn't. I had never had an actual facial before and it was VERY relaxing. Back to the waiting room. My next and final treatments were the manicure and pedicure. This was a treat, never thought my hands were worth the trouble but it was nice and the stone pedicure was dreamy. They had nice music and my person Gretchen was great and my feet look FABULOUS. I'll be back for a regular pedicure in the future. If I could add anything it would be some aromatherapy smells. It would also be neat if they offered a shampoo & blow out service. My hair was a mess but I was so relaxed I didn't care. I will go back! Pros: relaxing atmosphere, great employees, not pushy salespeople Cons: workout studio overhead
