Review content:
We had Brian and his crew paint our office. They gave us a quote prior to starting the job. We received a call from Brian after they had already started the job. He stated that there was good news bad news. Good news is that the paint looks good. Bad news is that he needed to paint another coat to make it look right. So I had two options...leave one coat and have a crappy paint job or pay another $800 and have the second coat done. We had him paint the second coat and it looks fine. Brian should have contacted us prior to ever picking up a paint brush to tell us that it was going to be an extra $800 over the quote that we had in our hands. We would then have had the option of proceeding with the job with the extra cost if we desired.
The paint job came out fine but I would not recommend to anyone else due to my experience with the $800 surprise. This could have easily avoided with good communication and a proper quote.
