Businiess name:  Riverside Inn

Review content:
We went to the Riverside Inn for the Mother's Day buffet on May 9, 2010 and it was absolutely horrible. We were seated and it was in excess of 15 minutes before a server showed up for beverage orders. There wasn't an excuse for it as the dining room was roughly half-empty. This is not usual for the Mother's Day buffet here as it is normally quite full. It was apparent that the servers did not want to be working. They were very unmotivated and simply didn't seem to care. There was butter on the table but no bread/ After another 20 minutes had passed we had to ask for the bread. The buffet itself was terrible. There was a "variety" with regard to selection but it mostly appeared picked over and never replentished. Roughly half of the items on the salad bar were empty. One of the two soups were emply. The cheese table had cheese but the cracker basket was empty. The hot buffet was picked over and what was there was dry and not very flavorful. We typically go to the Riverside for the Mother's Day buffet but it was extraordinarily disappointing and we will not be back again. I spoke with a co-worker this morning and she was at a banquet there on Friday, May 7th. She said their meal was terrible as well. It appears this is the new norm since the ownership change.
