Review content:
This place is fabulous. The staff is so friendly and helpful on a day-to-day basis, and when you're really in a pinch, they'll totally go out of their way for you. Just last week, I overheard them figuring out how to help a customer who had purchased 40 pounds of fresh fish (!!) without knowing how to send it back to his home state. And last winter, I ran in there in a total panic -- late for a a meeting but needing to get four packages shipped off -- and the owner (who is quite easy on the eyes, BTW) said, "Just write the addresses on sticky notes, put them on their respective packages, and we'll handle the rest." Judging by the number of people in there, I thought I'd be waiting at least 15 minutes ... instead, I was in and out in less than 5. Now that's service! And I haven't even gotten into their great coffee, TO DIE FOR vegan trail cookies and supercute cards -- not to mention all those awesome Ballard tee shirts. A definite neighborhood institution -- you can't even compare them to a post office or a regular shipping center!
