I went to Bangz for the first time to get a single-process haircolor treatment. My stylist sat me down at her station and took a look at my color, then sternly told me that I had requested the wrong type of treatment for my hair. I asked her what she recommended instead, and as an answer, she sighed and said she would do what she could, and escorted me back to the washing stations. She returned once my hair had been washed, and proceeded to apply color to my head, complaining the entire time that the "stench" of my head while applying treatment was making her "sick." This was such an embarrassing experience for me - other patrons were actually looking over to see what the fuss was. She was acting like such a primadonna!! She left me there for fifteen minutes, took a brief glance at my hair, then directed the person washing hair to rinse me out. The second most demeaning thing about this salon is that they have you blow dry your own hair. Are you serious?! I wasn't expecting a blowout, but come on - I'm going to pay you $60, and you don't even dry my hair?? I was told to go in to a blow-drying station, was handed a beatup blow dryer that looked 10 years old, and a hairbrush with someone else's hair still in it. Nice. Worst of all - I got home, and my hair was ORANGE. Overall, a pretty bad experience. I won't go back.
