One of my favorite places to browse on my trip to Michigan last week was the Northern Michigan Artists Market in Petoskey. This is an art gallery of sorts, all the artists are local to the area. What I like the most is that they had much more than paintings and sculptures. They carry beautiful and unique jewelry, pottery, paper art and so much more. I found a lovely pin that was somehow made from layering paper with paint...unique and affordable. This is a great place to shop for something unusual and area specific.
