Review content:
In the rolling hills of North East Ohio is Mohican State Park. Besides the hundreds of acres of forest, here is also the Mohican Lodge with their wonderful bar and delightful restaurant. I've attended several parties held there during the holidays and the food is always great.
The staff is always pleasant and helpful.
The lodge is also a convention center and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a gift shop that offers Native Amercian specialities.
Activities offered include camping, fishing, miles of trails both for hiking and for backpacking. The trails lead to waterfalls, along river banks and to the dam.
There is picnicing at the Covered bridge where we have had lots of community events. There is lots to photograph and the autum colors are spectacular.
I love this park, with it’s covered bridges and hiking trails and I think you will too.
