Review content:
This tiny little restaurant located off of Rockville Pike is home to some excellent Italian food. They start you off with a bread basket with many different varieties of bread, accompanied not with your standard bread/olive oil affair but actual crushed olives! Pretty much the yummiest thing ever.
The food is pretty good... I ordered probably the most basic thing on their menu--ravioli with meat sauce--but they still managed to make it stand out from your typical ravioli. My only complaint is that the portions were a bit too small, especially for the price ($10-$12 per plate). Everyone finished their meal and wanted more! Of course, that's probably also a testament to how good the food is.
For dessert I had their tiramisu, which comes in a wineglass and is pretty good, though not, according to my friend, as good as the tiramisu at California Pizza Kitchen.
The host was very nice and attentive without being annoying, and even set my bag in a safe place inside his cabinet when I accidentally left it at the restaurant. Five stars for service.
