My husband and I found this store when we lived down the street from them in Mentor. My understanding is there was a large fire that gutted the place, and they recently remodeled and opened the store... well, recently being a few months ago. This store is, to my opinion, a bit more expensive than the Giant Eagle down the street. Staples tend to cost more, and the bread always seems to be on its last leg before purchase. The main reason that I shop here, however, is the amazing deal on Dairymen's milk... $0.99/half gallon. Even though we have moved about 10 minutes away, about every week we go and stock up on the 8 half gallon allotment. Certain sales seem to be everyday, too, such as Sunny D and Bob Evans sausage. Kahn's hot dogs are there too. In terms of ambiance, this store is smaller and more quaint, and in some ways, seems a bit old-fashioned in its layout. It is clean, and the staff is nice enough. If you need a few things, this is a great place. There is a $10 minimum on debit card purchases, which is a pain. I wouldn't recommend coming here for your primary grocery shopping needs. I stick solely to milk, hot dogs, sausage, and sometimes, bread. Go to Giant Eagle for anything else.
