Review content:
Corrado's is a very large market that I shop at whenever I'm anywhere near Clifton, NJ (exit 153 Garden State Parkway). It has a huge selection of produce, seafoods, meats, bakery, deli, liquor store and ethnic foods. You can find any ethnic food specialty item here.
The store is family owned and run and you can usually find one of the Corrado's there answering questions or filling customer requests. The staff is helpful and the store is well stocked and maintained. One of the best reasons I like to shop here is to see what people are buying. You can always find an answer to the question "how do I prepare this" or "what's that" and how to cook it from the customers. People don't mind sharing information in the aisles here. I also like to share recipes or cooking tips and this is a good place to do that.
There are plenty of prepared items here to take home--heat and eat entrees and these seem to be quite popular based upon what I see in folks baskets. This is the place I buy 5 lb bags of pistachio nuts which are a favorite in my household.
While Corrado's can get very busy (especially during holidays) and can get crowded, there are numerous checkouts and there is on site free parking.
