Review content:
My wife and I went to Sonoma/Napa wine tasting on Memorial Day and after a long day, we wanted to hit one more winery before heading home. We got to Healdsburg at 4:45pm and most everything closed at 5. My wife and I like not only tasting wine, but the vineyard is crucial to our tasting, we don't like tasting rooms. But we got lost and it was a tasting room or nothing. We had our choice of a few on the same street, but we liked the name of this one. The pourers were very nice, they weren't rushing anything. They gave us casual dining recommendations, since we don't live anywhere close.
The tasting was free, which we love, as we were used to that in New England and don't like paying for tasting. And we absolutely LOVED their Risque which is a sweet sparkling wine. Our palates have matured over the years and we haven't had a white zinfandel in years, but this is supersweet and supergood. The wine is reasonably priced (most under $25). Even so, we don't part with money easily and we bought 2 Risques!
