Businiess name:  Ali Akbar Khan College of Music
Review by:  Jason D.
Review content:
Ali Akbar Khan is one of the greatest master musicians living on earth today. Over 40 years ago, he moved from India to San Rafael and has been teaching there ever since. The Ali Akbar Khan School of Music is one of the best places in the world to study Hindustani (North Indian) Classical music, and even beginners study with the master himself. Sit in on a group class for free just to experience what it’s like to see Khansahib (as his students call him) in action, or cast away all worldly cares and devote your life to the study of sarod, sitar, tabla, or any instrument you choose. They’ll let you take almost any instrument into the classes – I did clarinet for a few semesters and while I didn't master Indian music by any stretch of the imagination, I'm a much better musician for it.
