I LOVE Jones' potato pancakes! I remember going for them when I was little -- it was always such a treat. The shop has changed over the years but the food is still the same -- it's incredible. They are only open seasonally, though I wish they were open year round! They are about a 40 minute trip (one way) for me, but worth it! Long lines are also frequently found -- since this is a popular summer spot, and the potato pancakes are loved by many.
Their menu is simple -- potato pancakes, pierogies, and hot dogs. You can get your pancakes with a side of sour cream or applesauce for an additional charge.
I am eagerly awaiting their re-opening this year -- and I am sure my family will be regulars. With the price of gas, I think I may have to buy extra to freeze, so I can save on gas .... I wish I knew their secret, because if I did, I would be enjoying the absolute best potato pancakes year round for a lot less.
