i love this store and now that i have a toddler, i love it even more. they almost always have something going on during the weekends for kids. not too long ago they had a crayola event where children of all ages got to color sea creatures, mold foam clay, make sea necklaces and finger puppets, and go on a treasure hunt. the whole thing was free and my son left with an armful of crafts and a free crayola product. another weekend they were giving cupcakes away to the kids. everyone there is so nice and helpful. thanks to the staff at Michaels, i'm more creative with my holiday decorations. i made a wreath for the first time last december and it turned out great, if i may say so! :o) check out their website, they always list any events on there whether for kids or adults. if you see a childrens event listed, bring your kids. they will have a blast.
