Alright, so its a pain to find parking. And maybe you'll loop around and around to avoid dumb pedestrians who can't stay between the lines, but I still love going to Park Chow. If you're willing to walk a bit, try looking at the entrance to the park on 9th and Irving.
Chill people, great food, a warm fireplace, and service that is usually solid to superb. I loved going here when I was going through my I'll eat healthy and just have a salad phase, while Alex was in his indulgent give me some meat phase. There's a variety to choose from, but I LOVE the organic spinach salad with apples, feta, currants, and walnuts. And you get to choose what size you want it in.
If you've got space, try the ginger cake for dessert. It cames with pumpkin ice cream, which sounds a little weird, but it quite yummy.
