Businiess name:  Tangerine Cafe Llc

Review content:
It is not true that the food at Tangerine is disappointing, nor is the service, the incredibly friendly staff, or the incredibly capable manager who frankly could be at Wynn Las Vegas directing fine dining. Any restaurant will seek to protect and preserve their best customers. That's good business, and sometimes we all have to put up with that. One night a famous movie star went to Tangerine. His handler was incensed they would not give him special treatment. To me, honoring your regulars and not feigning over stars is the very best of San Francisco's character..or what's left of it. I know Herb Caen would approve of Tangerine that night. The person complaining about friends of the owner getting special treatment was in fact rude to one of the sweetest waitpersons I have ever known in order to get his way. It was a difficult situation, and we (the "friends of the owner") took another table without fuss. So, if you want yummy food and lovely service, go to Tangerine.
