Review content:
The Swiftwater Inn is great. The main dining area is only open after 4 or 5pm I believe. If you go before then you have to eat in the bar area and the bar area has a different menu and ambiance than the main dining area.
The main dining area has different style chairs and tables and even plates. Its all very charming. The menu is not that large but what they have is excellent. I usually order the pesto chicken when I go and find it to be great. They first bring you different breads and muffins. Than they bring you out cheeses and fruits. They also serve wonderful soups. Right before the meal they bring you a very small serving of sorbet to wet your appetite. By the time the meal comes your actually filled up. I usually wind up bringing most of my meal home. The main course is so huge that I divide it up into two to three servings. The desserts are also fabulous.
The down side is just the price. It usually cost us about $40 something for two ppl. I know some ppl would say that's a bargain while others would say that's too much. For me $40 isn't too bad if I do it only once in awhile.
