Amateur pc enthusiast/self-builder/father/husband checking in to thank Jaharre at "The Computer Hospital". He literally saved the day for my me, for the custom build, I completed for my son. Basically, my son was giving up 2 birthdays and this Christmas to have his custom build ready for 12/25/2021. His mother an I collected the parts over a few months (Ryzen 5 2600 w/ stock wraith cooler, MSI B450 Tomahawk, Viper ram 32g ddr4 3200mhz, wd black sn 750 m.2 nvme 500g boot drive, 550w evga supernova psu, and msi gtx 1050ti gpu).
My son and I built it in November, booted it up w/ a successful post, installed windows and then shut down and put it up for Christmas (yes, he already knew what he was getting...and was super excited). Well Christmas rolls around and we go to start it up and NOTHING. Now my child, who gave up 2 birthdays plus this Christmas to get his first custom built rig, doesn't have a functional Christmas present while his 5 siblings do...he's feeling bad...me, even worse.
After trying all the things youtube suggested, still nothing. I called The Computer Hospital and Jaharre answered. He was so very helpful. He took the time and listened as I explained everything and what I had tried thus far. He offered a few suggestions for me to try and never once pressured me to bring it in. We were already limited on our budget as it were.
Long story short, I went home and tried what he suggested and WA-LAA(ouila!???...don't know exactly). We now had a running custom computer and I, a super happy child.
Thank you Jaharre! You really saved the day. Also, special thanks to The Computer Hospital for having such epic employees. If I ever have anything out of my scope, your business will be my first choice to bring my pc too.
